National Railway Technologies From ASELSAN

Participating in InnoTrans 2016 International Transportation Technologies Exhibition being held at the capital of Germany, Berlin, ASELSAN exhibits its Traction Systems, Train Control and Management Systems and Facility Security Systems. ASELSAN comes together with the government officials and Ministry of Transportation, government agencies and also the senior executives of companies from the various countries at the fair, which brings together 3 thousand companies from 60 countries.

For the First Time Exhibited in the International Market

The critic electrical-electronic components of the rail transportation vehicles such as subway, tramway, high-speed train, regional train, locomotive and also the products of ASELSAN with advanced and unique technology in the fields of energy storage systems, railway signalization and control systems attracted intensive attention at Innotrans fair where it was exhibited for the first time in the international market.

Ankara Subway and Durmazlar Ipekbocegi Vehicles operate with ASELSAN Systems

Utilizing the military technologies for other sectors in need, ASELSAN has been doing modernization studies for Ankara Subway. In the scope of the Project carried out together with the Metropolitan Municipality of Ankara, the systems developed by ASELSAN are being integrated into the triple subway set. It is planned that the service life of vehicles will be completely extended for another 20 years by ASELSAN apart from the vehicle body and wheels.

The traction systems of first indigenous tramway vehicle Ipekbocegi developed by DURMAZLAR are indigenized by ASESLSAN in accordance with the cooperation between two companies. By this means, the local contribution rate increases above 85 percent and so the foreign resource dependency for critical systems of national and local subway, regional trains, high-speed trains and locomotives ends.
